Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry and electrical components of slot and/or gaming electrical equipment.
  • Report serious technical problems or abnormalities to leadership.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on slot machines and associated gaming equipment.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of slot machines by minimizing downtime and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of necessary parts.
  • Execute repairs and component-level circuit board repairs to uphold the inventory of slot machine associated equipment.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on slot machines, slot machine parts, and other gaming-related equipment.
  • Participate in the installation, movement, and removal of gaming-related equipment to ensure a seamless transition in slot moves.
  • Ensure that all gaming regulations and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain knowledge of and enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Slot Technical Department.
  • Ensure the proper safeguarding of assigned assets.
  • Report concerns to leadership as soon as they are known.
  • Ensure the work area is always clean.
  • Respond to guest needs according to service, policy, and procedure expectations.
  • Escalate potential issues and/or concerns to Manager as needed.
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; one to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of how slot and poker machines function.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of how to make component-level circuit board repairs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge of how slot and poker machines function.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
