Slot Technician II
Job Description
Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of slot machines, slot systems, and slot signage
Perform slot conversions, floor projects, and other assignments as requested
Walk the casino floor to ensure all slot machines and bill validators are operational; perform light maintenance including signage and bulb replacement
Coordinate and execute the breakdown, relocation, and reinstallation of slot machines and stands
Participate in a preventative maintenance program for slot machines and related equipment
Maintain an organized and clean slot repair shop
Promote positive guest relations through professional, efficient service
Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with team members and management
Report disputes and unusual guest activity to management
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years of slot technical experience in a casino environment
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining CDS data communications systems preferred; equivalent experience with related systems considered
- Strong knowledge of gaming equipment repair and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Regularly push/pull up to 400lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer
- Frequently standing and walking
- Able to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Able to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Able to distinguish between shades of color
- Able to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
Work Environment
- Potential conditions: Indoor, Smoky, Noisy, Bright flashing lights, Extreme hot/cold temperatures, Slippery surfaces, Exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases
