Gaming Attendant

About the role

As a Gaming Attendant at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience in our gaming facility. This position involves assisting guests with gaming activities, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment, and supporting the smooth operation of gaming areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with gaming rules, procedures, and equipment operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of gaming areas, including tables, machines, and seating.
• Monitor gaming activities to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, addressing questions or concerns.
• Handle minor guest disputes or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Support cash handling and basic transactions as required.
• Collaborate with security and other team members to ensure a safe environment.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on gaming regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in gaming, hospitality, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain any required gaming licenses or certifications.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 25 pounds.
• Exposure to noise levels typical of a gaming environment.
• Work may be performed indoors in a climate-controlled setting.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Pay range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
