Game Presentation Assistant

About the Role

Game Presentation Assistants are essential to the execution of our department needs before, during, and after all home games. This is a seasonal part-time role through the season and potential playoffs, with expected availability for at least 75% of all home Timberwolves games. Interviews and hiring will begin mid-August, with offers around mid-September.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-court promotions, partner activations, in-arena entertainment, and other game night activities to ensure a successful event.
• Bring excitement to internal and external events through a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
• Set up and tear down interactive entertainment in the arena.
• Provide excellent customer service and fan engagement to enhance the fan experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Live Programming & Entertainment staff.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working on a team as well as independently.
• Ability to follow direction in a high-energy environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Expected availability for 75% of all Timberwolves home games, with a call time 5 hours prior to tip-off.

Preferred Experience

• Previous customer service and/or game presentation experience.

Work Environment

This role operates during Timberwolves and Lynx home games in a sports arena, including the main court, bleachers/steps, and office environments. The work is active, with loud noise levels during events. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous conditions.

Physical Demands

• Regularly communicate and exchange information with others in person and over the telephone.
• Frequently remain in a stationary position for periods of time.
• Ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse quickly.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.
