Game Presentation Specialist
Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing | Department: Marketing | Status: Part-Time
Position Summary
The Game Presentation Specialist assists in the planning and execution of all Worcester Railers game presentation and in-arena entertainment elements. This role is responsible for helping create a high-energy, engaging, and seamless fan experience at all Railers home games. Working closely with the marketing, production, and operations teams, the Game Presentation Specialist helps execute theme nights, sponsor activations, and in-game entertainment while ensuring all game day elements align with organizational branding and fan engagement goals. Responsibilities
Game Day Operations & Execution
- Assist in the execution of game presentation elements and entertainment flow during all Worcester Railers home games
- Co-develop and distribute detailed game day rundowns, production schedules, and event timelines to internal departments, arena personnel, and external partners
- Execute all in-game promotions, fan engagement initiatives, and sponsored elements, including intermission contests, chuck-a-puck, ceremonial moments, and special presentations
- Coordinate game day communication between ticket sales, corporate partnerships, operations, and entertainment staff to ensure smooth execution
- Serve as the primary game day lead for part-time entertainment staff, including ice crew, mascot performers, and other in-game talent
- Identify opportunities to improve game presentation, operational efficiency, fan engagement, and internal communication
- Assist with additional live events and organizational functions as needed
Theme Nights & Promotional Support
- Assist the marketing team in the planning and execution of theme nights, promotional activations, and specialty events
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with ticket sales, corporate partnerships, community relations, hockey operations, arena operations, and broadcast teams to gather information necessary for game day execution
- Maintain a proactive and detail-oriented approach to event preparation and communication
- Participate in occasional staff meetings and planning sessions related to upcoming promotions, operational updates, and organizational initiatives
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Prior experience in live event production, game presentation, or sports entertainment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of hockey and professional sports strongly preferred
- Experience with Daktronics systems preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Work Conditions
- Must be available to work all Worcester Railers home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout game day operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
