Game Master - Front Desk

About the role

Red Door Escape Room is looking for a fun, people‑focused Game Master to provide a 6‑star guest experience. The role is centered on social skills, guiding guests through immersive storylines, and creating memorable moments in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for every experience by hyping up players and speaking confidently to large groups.
• Communicate rules, guidelines, and storylines in an exciting way.
• Monitor team progress from the control room, staying alert, sharp, and focused.
• Adapt to different situations and personality types, providing hints or clues as needed.
• Become knowledgeable about all aspects of the position and immerse guests in the connected storylines and characters.
• Create special moments during each experience (e.g., encouraging guests to dance or sing “Happy Birthday” for free hints).
• Conclude every session on a high note, celebrating successes or offering encouragement for near‑wins.
• Collaborate with the team, living by company values and contributing to a creative workplace.
• Utilize downtime for maintenance projects such as touch‑up painting and prop repair to improve the episodes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay

$12.50 per hour.

Schedule

Availability to work weekends and evenings is required.
