FY26 - Tax Senior Services Manager - Financial Services-Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - EDGE
About the role
The opportunity is to serve as a lead of a tax operations team focusing on US and global tax information reporting and withholding matters. You will work in a group environment on challenging tax information reporting and withholding engagements across all financial services sectors.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead of tax operations team.
- Manage operations team by directing and coordinating day-to-day interactions with clients (as needed).
- Review key performance indicators by work stream.
- Drive delivery of services to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Develop internal team members.
- Manage engagement economics.
- Manage all escalations and resolutions.
- Provide visibility to leadership.
- Implement consistent and standardized processes and procedures.
- Support client internal audits and external audits.
- Evidence performance and introduce efficiencies via production of KRI's and KPI's.
- Manage opportunity and engagement risk for engagements.
- Understand business financials ensuring work is accomplished on budget through review of team's out-of-scope efforts and client billable hours.
- Leverage standard technologies and processes while driving efficiency and quality of deliverables.
- Act as a counselor and coach, and develop a team of tax professionals.
- Participate in their performance management.
- Travel 20% or less.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
- Minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
- CPA, EA, or licensed attorney.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments.
- Strong operations skills, tax technical skills not required.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,900 to $291,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $153,400 to $331,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
