Financial Services - Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - Senior Manager
About the role
EY's Business Tax Advisory practice offers opportunities to focus on U.S. Tax Information reporting & withholding. You will work in a group environment on challenging information reporting and withholding engagements across all financial services sectors.
Responsibilities
- Interpret IRS Code and Regulations
- Draft guidance
- Data analysis and requirements development
- Manage a team with their duties
- Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts
- Technical analysis, process improvement, and responding to RFP notices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience
- Licensed attorney or CPA
- Initiative to seek out new opportunities at current clients and potential clients
Skills and Attributes
- Ability to read and interpret IRS Code, regulations and instructions
- Expertise in tax reporting/tax operations and corporate tax work experience
- Securities processing and operations knowledge
- Strong writing skills for policy and procedure writing
- Project management capability

Pay
The base salary range for this role in the US is $150,400 to $343,600. For New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $180,500 to $390,500.
Schedule
