Full-Time Warehouse Operations Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing daily distribution center operations, including labor management, shipping, receiving, and facility maintenance. Collaborates with management to improve processes, optimize warehouse efficiency, and ensure safety and security standards are upheld. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, personnel, and equipment maintenance.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues promptly.Analyze reports on productivity, labor, expenses, and KPIs to meet organizational goals.Develop improvement plans, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain customer relationships.Manage reporting related to shipments, product volume, and customer activities.Enforce standardized warehouse processes for timely and accurate shipments.Supervise safety, sanitation, and security protocols, working with relevant departments.Lead staffing, training, performance reviews, and career development for staff.Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices, recommending process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Minimum of five years in distribution center operations with at least two years in management.Strong communication, organization, leadership, and analytical skills.Knowledge of warehouse management systems and distribution processes.Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work flexible hours, lift up to 75 pounds, and travel as needed. Physical & Other Requirements: Must frequently sit, walk, stand, handle objects, and operate equipment in a warehouse environment, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise. Must be able to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
