Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Crestview Animal Hospital & Emergency

Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist.
Crestview Animal Hospital in Cumming, Georgia, provides high-quality veterinary care with a focus on personalized service and compassionate treatment. The team is dedicated to creating a comfortable, stress-free experience while delivering comprehensive care for pets at every life stage.
We are a team-oriented, multi-doctor 24/7 practice seeing both general practice and emergency cases, with our focus being on what's best for the pet.
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations.
- Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
- Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
- Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
- Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
- Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
- Relevant veterinary experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced, large doctor practice.
Schedule
- Day shift; Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
- 1 holiday shift per year is required.

Pay
Pay Range $17—$19 USD
