Full Time Teller - Commack

About the role

The Teller position at FourLeaf Federal Credit Union is designed to contribute to the success of the branch by delivering exceptional member experiences, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and building long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Effectively process financial transactions using FourLeaf systems according to established policies and procedures.
• Make sound decisions that adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Identify red flags based on risk guidelines and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
• Manage teller line and drive-up traffic to minimize waiting times.
• Cultivate member relationships and recommend beneficial products and services.
• Engage with members upon entry, welcome them, and assist with lobby management.
• Process requests that can be handled at the teller line, such as printing debit cards, submitting fraud claims, and disputes.
• Participate in opening/closing procedures, daily reports, audits, and dual control activities.
• Maintain controls, reconciliations, and reports as needed or required.
• Stay informed about policies, procedures, and banking regulations, identifying and addressing risks and fraud trends.
• Meet or exceed assigned performance goals and metrics to support individual, branch, Retail Banking, and organizational objectives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-4 years of customer service and cash handling experience.
• PC, Windows, and internet proficiency.
• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, excellent member service, communication, and time management.
