About the role
As a Teller, you will assist customers with various banking transactions, provide exceptional service, and promote bank products. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash management while ensuring compliance with policies to prevent fraud and manage risk.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
- Process transactions accurately and maintain cash drawer balances.
- Follow all policies and procedures related to compliance and risk management.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and educate customers on digital tools.
- Support operational tasks, audits, and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Assist nearby branches as needed to support business operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months cash handling and customer service experience.
- Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to use digital tools, work accurately, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic math and computers.
- Flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Proven work history.
