About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assess physical, psychological, and social aspects of patients from pediatric to geriatric populations
  • Develop and update individualized care plans
  • Implement medical interventions
  • Document nursing activities
  • Advocate for patient dignity and confidentiality
  • Educate patients and families
  • Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
  • Serve as a resource for staff training
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling

Qualifications

  • Current, licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Commitment to teamwork and patient advocacy
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
