Full-Time RN - Acute Care Cardiology

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a busy Cardiology Medicine Unit, utilizing advanced nursing skills within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position involves caring for patients with moderate to high acuity in acute care settings, supporting evidence-based practices, and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
• Mentor and precept new staff members
• Support specialty education and competency validation
• Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's preferred)
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented approach
