Provide direct patient care in an acute-care Cardiology Medicine Unit, delivering top-of-scope nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care using the nursing process
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Prioritize patient wellness
- Model proficiency through precepting
- Contribute to safety and quality initiatives
- Support specialty education and competency validation
- Care for patients with moderate to high acuity
- Adhere to evidence-based care models
- Participate in ongoing education supported by clinical educators
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- At least 6 months of nursing experience
