Full-Time Respiratory Therapist

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care across all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. They consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for both physicians and nursing staff regarding respiratory care. The role involves performing assigned duties using respiratory care devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians on therapy effectiveness
• Utilize all appropriate respiratory care devices
• Act as a resource and support team members in respiratory care

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Physical ability to push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs., and perform minimal kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Preferred: ACLS certification and critical care experience

Additional Information

Ideal candidates have no prior experience required but should possess necessary licensure, certification, and physical capability. The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and compassionate patient care.
