Full Time Respiratory Therapist

About the role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures for diverse patient populations, including ABG analysis, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and airway management.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory treatments
• Interpret diagnostic data
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment
• Ensure infection control and safety standards
• Conduct patient assessments
• Review medical records
• Utilize critical thinking for appropriate interventions
• Administer therapies
• Interpret diagnostic results
• Assemble and maintain equipment
• Contribute to quality assurance
• Perform additional duties as needed, demonstrating sensitivity to patient diversity and needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Licensed in good standing
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience
