Full Time Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist provides essential respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric. Key Responsibilities: Set up, monitor, and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation; perform arterial blood gas analysis and EKG reporting; deliver intermittent therapies; assist with artificial airway management; document clinical information; educate patients and staff; perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures; adapt care to patient age and needs. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an associate’s degree in respiratory or pulmonary therapy; valid license as a Respiratory Therapist; certification as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Additional Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and patient mobility; work in a healthcare environment with exposure risks; maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory standards; demonstrate flexibility for on-call and varied shifts.
