Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time

About the role

Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care under physician direction or supervision of a qualified medical director.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Respiratory Care procedures and modalities, including Critical Care and Blood Gas analysis, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Utilize computerized equipment and patient care applications effectively.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy school.
• Hold a current license (temporary or permanent).
• Eligible or certified as a CRT by NBRC.
• CPR certified by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional degrees.
• Hospital experience.
• NRP, PALS, ACLS certifications.
• Advanced computer skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory procedures and critical care.
• Proficiency in blood gas analysis.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new technology.
• Strong patient care skills.
