Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist

About the role

Full-time Night Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and airway maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts respiratory assessments and interprets patient data such as CXR, ABG, and PFTs.
• Operates and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Performs related diagnostic procedures.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance.
• Utilizes critical thinking to evaluate and adjust treatments.
• Provides patient education and collaborates with medical staff.

Key Duties

• Deliver respiratory therapies.
• Interpret diagnostic results.
• Assemble and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Texas license in good standing.
• NBRC registration.
• NRP and PALS certifications within a year.
• Ability to perform procedures on adults and neonates.
