About the role
The Full-Time Recreation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of recreational programs and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of recreation programs and facilities
- Develop and implement new programs and activities
- Manage staff and volunteers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate with community members and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recreation management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of local government processes
- Program development and implementation
