About the role
We are seeking a Phlebotomist III Site Lead responsible for drawing quality blood samples, ensuring accurate specimen processing, and supervising daily operations at multiple locations, including Patient Service Centers and in-office settings. This role involves leading and mentoring staff, providing exemplary customer service, managing complex test orders and high-volume workloads, and coordinating with various departments such as Sales, Laboratory, and Logistics.
Responsibilities
- Draw quality blood samples from patients.
- Ensure accurate specimen processing and data entry.
- Supervise daily operations at assigned locations.
- Lead and mentor phlebotomy staff.
- Provide exemplary customer service.
- Manage complex test orders and high-volume workloads.
- Act as a point of contact and coach new employees.
- Adhere to safety and compliance protocols.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Strong data entry skills and proficiency with lab systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel is required.
- High School diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.

- Exceptional phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
