About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Constant Patient Observer to monitor patients in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous observation to ensure patient safety
- Control access and screen visitors
- Remove hazards and support staff during behavioral escalations
- Conduct patrols and inspections of the premises
- Respond to incidents, secure scenes, and document reports
- Provide courteous customer service and collaborate with clinical teams
- Enforce safety protocols and assist with patient management as needed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable communication and transportation
- Legal work authorization in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective English communication skills
Qualifications
- Excellent observational and de-escalation skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Commitment to safety and ethics
- Preferred experience in security, law enforcement, or healthcare settings
