Full-Time Patient Observer

About the role

Seeking a Constant Patient Observer responsible for maintaining a safe hospital environment through continuous monitoring, access control, and behavior observation. The role involves regulating visitor access, removing hazards, supporting staff, and responding to incidents with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted observation of patients to ensure safety
• Control access to care areas and screen visitors
• Support staff and protect patients and visitors
• Conduct patrols, inspect facilities, and identify hazards
• Respond to emergencies, document incidents, and secure scenes
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff and management
• Enforce safety policies and assist with behavioral escalations
• Perform other security-related duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong observational, de-escalation, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Preferred experience in security, law enforcement, or healthcare
