Full -time Orthopedic Physician Assistant - Vassar Brothers Medical Center (75 minutes north of New York City)
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- OR coverage as well as management of admissions, consults, floor rounds, post-op management and discharge of patients.
- Four 10-hour shifts per week with one weekday call per week and one weekend call from home.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and NCCPA certified.
- At least one to three years of surgical experience or surgical residency trained candidates preferred.
- New graduates and new nurse practitioners with RNF certification and surgical experience will also be considered.
