Full Time - Operations - Community Manager - Lee Hardware Lofts

Job Summary

We are seeking a Community Manager to join our dynamic team at Omega Management Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing income, controlling expenses, and managing the day-to-day operations of the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Maximize income and control expenses at the apartment community
• Manage the day-to-day operations and organization of the apartment management office and staff
• Ensure the property is clean, in good repair, and target occupancy is met
• Exercise discretion within company guidelines in dealing with a wide variety of situations
• Promote increased rental revenue, service residents' needs, collect rents and fees, maintain the property, etc.

Requirements

• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures
• Able to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions
• Capable of working at a fast pace and with multiple tasks, performing duties while under pressure and meeting deadlines in a timely manner
• Legible penmanship and accurate typing skills
• Able to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations
• Able to operate various office equipment and be computer literate
• Good customer service skills and ability to resolve resident, prospect, and vendor problems
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all types of people
• Sales capability to lease apartments
• Supervisory skills to direct, lead, and resolve employee disputes
• Self-motivation to set and accomplish personal and team goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency, some college preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in management, sales, and/or office administration
• Prior apartment management experience preferred
• ARM or CAM designations preferred
• HUD/LIHTC experience preferred
