Full Time - Operations - Community Manager - Lee Hardware Lofts I, II
About the role
We are seeking a Community Manager to join our dynamic team at Omega Management Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing income, controlling expenses, and managing the day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
Responsibilities
- Maximize income and control expenses at the apartment community
- Ensure the property is clean, in good repair, and meets target occupancy
- Manage the apartment management office and staff
- Deal with a wide variety of situations, such as promoting increased rental revenue, servicing residents' needs, collecting rents and fees, maintaining the property, etc.
Requirements
- Apply principles of logical thinking to practical situations and follow standardized procedures
- Think rationally beyond specific instructions
- Work at a fast pace, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Communicate professionally and interact with residents, visitors, and the public
- Have legible penmanship, accurate typing skills, and the ability to deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records
- Compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations
- Operate various office equipment and be computer literate
- Have good customer service skills and problem-solving abilities
- Have good communication skills and the ability to interact with all types of people
- Have supervisory skills to direct, lead, and resolve employee disputes
- Be self-motivated to set and achieve personal and team goals
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalency, with some college preferred
- A minimum of one year of experience in management, sales, and/or office administration
- Prior apartment management experience is preferred
- The ARM or CAM designations are preferred
- HUD/LIHTC experience is preferred
