About the Role

The Clinical Assistant Manager advocates for resource allocation to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care while promoting shared decision-making and professional autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative leadership by supporting quality improvement initiatives, staff performance evaluations, discipline, and fostering professional development.
• Ensures safe, therapeutic environments, manages staffing and care models to optimize resources, and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, facilitate smooth patient throughput, and support performance improvement activities.
• Participates in operational planning, manages resources responsibly, and balances patient needs with cost-effectiveness.
• Supports staff development, encourages participation in professional organizations, and promotes community engagement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical nursing experience and one year in leadership roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare systems, performance improvement, JCAHO standards, and organizational finance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Current RN licensure, BLS certification, and specialty certification within 6 months of eligibility are required.
