Full-Time Nurse Director

About the Role

This position is for a Director of Nursing (RN) in a skilled nursing facility, responsible for overseeing the nursing department to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, and direct nursing operations in compliance with regulations
• Oversee education, infection prevention, and wound management programs
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff
• Assist in care plan development
• Coordinate infection control and wound care programs
• Respond to emergency situations as needed

Requirements

• Current NYS RN license in good standing
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience, preferably in long-term or skilled nursing settings
• Wound care certification and SigmaCare experience are advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Ability to train staff, manage staffing levels, and ensure compliance with safety and care standards
