Full Time Nanny - Henrico

Compensation: $17-$19 an hour. Start date: September 8, 2026.

About the role

A warm and welcoming family in Henrico, VA is seeking a reliable, caring, and engaging long-term nanny to care for their 3-year-old child and 3-month-old. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience caring for both toddlers and infants who enjoys providing nurturing, attentive care.

Responsibilities

• Engage the toddler in age-appropriate activities, reading books, encouraging play and learning
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Support nap routines
• Keep children's areas tidy
• Infant feeding, diaper changes, naps, meeting milestones, and developmental support

Requirements

• CPR certification
• Updated vaccines including Tdap, MMR, Influenza, and Covid
• English speaking
• Experience working with children ages newborn and up
• Punctuality, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to transport children
• Able to commit to the schedule for the long-term future
• Must interview with a Jovie specialist and meet the family prior to being hired
• This job is not visa eligible

Schedule

30 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and provided in advance:

• Monday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Option of an additional 3 hours on a 4th day to round out to 30 hours for the week
