About the role
The role requires a highly responsible and nurturing individual to provide comprehensive childcare services in Lower Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and supervision for children aged 2-5 years old.
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children.
- Engage in educational activities that promote cognitive and social development.
- Collaborate with parents to maintain open communication regarding child’s progress and needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in childcare or similar field.
- Valid New York State Child Abuse/Neglect Reporting Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Experience with basic first aid and CPR.
- Passionate about early childhood education and development.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
