About the role

The role involves providing comprehensive childcare services in a comfortable and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include meal preparation, daily supervision, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and serving meals to children
• Daily supervision and care of children
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
• Engaging in educational activities to support the children’s development
• Assisting with homework and academic support

Requirements

• Valid New York State Child Abuse Prevention and Reporting Act (CAPRA) certification
• Experience in childcare or related field
• Passing a background check
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Skills

• Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and communication
• Knowledge of child development stages and appropriate teaching methods
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
