Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include feeding, maintaining a consistent nap schedule, engaging in age-appropriate play and activities, and supporting the child's continued growth and development. The family encourages outings and would love a caregiver who enjoys taking their little one to activities such as library story times, art classes, parks, and other local child-friendly events.
Requirements
- English Speaking
- Experience working with children ages preschool and up
- Punctuality, reliability and communication are extremely important
- Reliable transportation and willingness to transport children
- Able to commit to the schedule for the long-term future
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, be punctual, reliable, and have excellent communication skills. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required, and mileage will be reimbursed for all work-related driving.
Skills
The family is looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, can keep up with toddler energy, and is willing to engage in outdoor activities with the child. The family does not allow screen time for their son, so the candidate should be able to plan and implement screen-free activities.

Pay
Compensation: $18-$21 an hour
Schedule
Current schedule: Monday 7:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday 7:00am – 5:00pm, Wednesday 9:00am – 2:00pm, Thursday 9:00am – 2:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm. The schedule will change to Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm in October when the child starts daycare.
