Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and follow store processes for receiving merchandise.
• Stock, face, and build displays; restock returned items.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide exemplary service.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, and bag merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards; support store setup and closing procedures.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, monitor security, and complete necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety policies, and merchandise presentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of store operations, plan-o-grams, and safety practices.

Experience & Conditions

• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 55 pounds, and operate equipment.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment, occasional outdoor conditions, and driving for store-related tasks.
