Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role involves ensuring efficient store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams and displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and operating cash registers.
• Handle cash transactions, make change, and process payments accurately.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves, and ensure safety protocols.
• Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and documentation in the absence of management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of cash register functions, safety policies, and store operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and presentation standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.
