Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

The Lead Sales Associate maintains a clean, organized store with a customer‑first focus, assisting customers, operating cash registers, stocking merchandise, and ensuring store cleanliness. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, they act in a leadership capacity, performing duties such as opening and closing the store, managing merchandise displays, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assistance
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
• Restock, rotate merchandise, and build displays
• Clean the store and maintain safety policies
• Implement planograms and assist with store setup
• Perform management duties in the absence of store leadership

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of safety policies
• Ability to follow visual merchandising guides
• Basic math and cash‑handling proficiency
• Ability to operate relevant equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Supervisory experience (preferred)

Working conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing
