Full-Time Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist

Role And Responsibilities The Medical Technologist supervises all technical and operational activities within their section(s) under the guidance of the Laboratory Director and/or Manager. They are responsible for ensuring accurate and precise clinical laboratory work, following established protocols and standards. Supervision includes planning, directing, and overseeing laboratory procedures, maintaining compliance, and supporting quality assurance initiatives. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s Degree or meet CLIA requirements for a General Supervisor. Experience in clinical laboratory settings, with a preference for hospital-based work. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to supervise laboratory operations effectively. Knowledge of laboratory safety, compliance, and quality control standards. Key Duties Supervise laboratory activities to ensure high-quality patient testing services. Coordinate and support laboratory staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate documentation, quality control, and safety standards. Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and staff development.
