About the Role

This position provides clinical oversight and operational support in an outpatient gastroenterology infusion center, emphasizing leadership, clinical expertise, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and supporting professional development.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and competency validation of clinical team members.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering infusions, medications, and biologics per physician orders and protocols.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after treatments, monitoring for adverse reactions, and managing emergencies.
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care, ensuring accurate clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate staffing and workflow to ensure safe, efficient care while modeling professionalism and fostering teamwork.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse licensed in New York, with a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of two years' RN experience, with prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of infusion procedures, gastroenterological conditions, and medication protocols.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and MS Office.
  • Adherence to HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Additional Details
