Responsibilities
- Maintaining a secure environment
- Conducting patrols
- Responding to incidents
- Utilizing de-escalation techniques such as CPI
- Monitoring individuals during potential elopement situations
- Working closely with the Security Operations Center
- Completing accurate reports
- Maintaining a professional appearance and positive demeanor
Qualifications
- 1–3 years security experience
- Valid NY State Security Guard License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Physically able to stand and walk extensively
- Dependable and able to work independently or within a team
Skills
- Healthcare or emergency response experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with security operations
