Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital grounds, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical facility alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor access requirements, and reporting unauthorized individuals or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour
