Security Officer Full Time Healthcare

As a Security Officer Full Time in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues through proper channels.
• Support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors by providing directions, answering questions, and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily activities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay & schedule

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Schedule: DayTime - Mon 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
