Full-Time Dietitian

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Whitfield, MS. In this role, you will assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop interventions to support their nutritional health, and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise and guidance to patients, staff, and the healthcare team
• Educate patients and staff on nutrition and dietetics
• Adhere to standards of practice and regulatory requirements
• Implement policies and procedures related to nutrition and dining services
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field (prior to 2024) or a master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed a national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility criteria
• Licensed or certified according to state requirements
• Completes ongoing continuing education as per CDR standards
• Knowledge of regulation standards related to assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a bonus.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $34.00 per hour depending on experience.
