About the role

This full-time, on-site role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily theatre operations at the Regal theatre in Buffalo. Responsibilities include staff supervision, scheduling, performance management, guest service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment while adhering to company policies and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial performance, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotions.
  • Train and coach team members, providing performance feedback.
  • Resolve guest concerns and collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency and the moviegoing experience.
  • Ensure operational standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in team leadership and people management, including coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling.
  • Operational skills in retail, hospitality, or entertainment environments (e.g., inventory control, cash handling, basic financial oversight).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to address guest concerns and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
  • Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems; ability to learn internal tools and reporting platforms.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, management, or hospitality is a plus.

Previous supervisory experience in theatres, hospitality, retail, or similar fields is preferred.
