Full-Time Deli Department Manager

Position Overview The Deli Manager oversees all functions and personnel of the Deli Department to meet sales and profit targets, ensuring efficient work shifts that benefit the store's financial interests. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies on safety and sanitation.Achieve financial goals by maximizing sales and gross profit, and minimizing shrink and supply costs.Accurately take customer orders for prepared foods and specialty Deli products.Manage inventory through weekly ordering, maintaining proper stock levels.Ensure proper processing, preparation, and packaging of products in line with company standards.Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and complete all necessary paperwork.Hire, train, develop, and schedule Deli staff, and perform tasks assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent.Basic computer skills; ability to read, write, and perform basic math.Physical ability to stand, lift, carry up to 50 lbs, and operate deli equipment safely.Prior retail or Deli experience preferred.Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.
