About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all food items based on standardized recipes for various outlets including the restaurant, dining outlets, room service, and employee cafeteria.
  • Maintain, set up, and execute food production and quality control across multiple stations such as broiler, saute, grill, and others as needed.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service to guests by completing all necessary food and station preparations before opening hours.
  • Work across multiple outlets and functions, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to step in wherever needed.
  • Contribute to career advancement within the organization through ongoing development and promotion opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with experience in a hotel or related culinary field.
  • Food Handler Certification compliant with state requirements.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of menus and food preparation techniques across multiple stations and cooking methods.
  • Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production charts accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly to team members and leadership.
  • Quick decision-making ability to handle situations under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Flexible availability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Passion for food and culinary craft.
  • Thorough knowledge of menus and food preparation techniques.
