Responsibilities
- Prepare all food items based on standardized recipes for various outlets including the restaurant, dining outlets, room service, and employee cafeteria.
- Maintain, set up, and execute food production and quality control across multiple stations such as broiler, saute, grill, and others as needed.
- Ensure timely and efficient service to guests by completing all necessary food and station preparations before opening hours.
- Work across multiple outlets and functions, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to step in wherever needed.
- Contribute to career advancement within the organization through ongoing development and promotion opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with experience in a hotel or related culinary field.
- Food Handler Certification compliant with state requirements.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of menus and food preparation techniques across multiple stations and cooking methods.
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production charts accurately.
- Effective communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly to team members and leadership.
- Quick decision-making ability to handle situations under pressure.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Flexible availability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
