About the role
Thorne Crest Senior Living Community in Albert Lea, MN, is seeking a Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Responsibilities
- Assessing and evaluating the functional capabilities of residents to identify areas for improvement in daily activities.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance the independence and quality of life for residents.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans that meet the needs of each resident.
- Providing therapeutic interventions to promote functional performance and prevent complications related to immobility.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- A minimum of one year of recent full-time work experience as a COTA in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.

Pay
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
