Vista Ridge Senior Care has an in-house therapy team with smaller daily case loads, all new equipment, and an emphasis on optimizing time with patients. Responsibilities
- Helps residents by providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction/supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Maintains expected productivity/efficiency set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
- Monitors therapy services to make sure they are performed correctly and provides encouragement when necessary.
- Maintains patient occupational therapy records by recording the resident’s progress and daily notes.
- Generates revenue by recording billing information of services rendered.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
- Helps keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Serves and protects occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhances occupational therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements
- Current Texas licensure as an OTA is required
