Full Time Building Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain safe, functional, and welcoming environments across multiple properties in Madison and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities Include Performing skilled and semi-skilled repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.Conducting preventative maintenance and safety inspections.Maintaining property appearance, curb appeal, and ensuring compliance with codes.Responding to emergency maintenance needs as part of an on-call rotation.Operating grounds maintenance equipment and handling snow removal.Collaborating with team members, vendors, and contractors.Purchasing supplies within budget guidelines. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or GED preferred; 2+ years of maintenance or repair experience preferred.Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).Ability to read blueprints and follow safety procedures.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Willingness to travel between properties.
