Full Time Building Substitute Teacher Grades 7-12
About the Role
We are seeking a building-based substitute to work within grades 7-12, reporting on a daily basis. This is a full-time position that includes benefits and time off. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for teaching students and share in our mission and vision of putting the needs of our students first. Our goal is to support both the academic and social-emotional needs of our students, fostering a positive learning environment through our behavior management policies.

- Knowledge of charter schools and what makes them unique
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in the area of certification preferred
- Knowledge of Restorative Justice and experience implementing it in the classroom preferred
- Valid Teaching License recognized by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or evidence of eligibility to obtain such licensure within one year of employment
- Experience using technology in the classroom preferred
- At least one year of teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to relate well to others
