Full Time Building Substitute Teacher

About the role

Goddard Public Schools is seeking a Full-time Building Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will implement lesson plans as designed by the classroom teacher and build supportive, caring educational relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Implementing lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
• Supporting student learning and engagement
• Collaborating effectively with teachers, staff, and administrators
• Following district and building procedures and expectations

Requirements

• A Bachelors Degree
• Appropriate licensure/certification through the Kansas State Department of Education for the grade level(s) and subject area(s) served
